The 925 silver is made of a blend of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other precious metals to maintain the color of cool elegance. Our silver jewelry does not contain nickel and therefore will not cause an allergic reaction or rash. Jewelry made of untreated silver shines white-silver, while a layer of rhodium gives the jewelry a darker radiant look and added protection. Our gold-plated jewelry is made of pure 925 silver on the inside. This noble core is enclosed and gold plated with an additional 2 micron thick layer of 18 karat gold. The gold plating gives the jewelry an incomparable long-lasting shine, which is visually identical to jewelry made of pure gold.
